Congressional Candidates: At a Glance

Colin Allred’s views on abortion are extreme. Most Texans, whether pro-life or pro-choice, believe there should be reasonable restrictions on abortion to protect the health and safety of women and their unborn children, but Colin Allred doesn’t think there should be any limits at all.

Allred has been endorsed by a radical pro-abortion group which supports abortion on-demand, up to the moment of birth paid for by taxpayers.

Genevieve Collins

Pro-life Republican candidate
  • Will vote to ensure equal medical care for infants born alive during a failed abortion attempt

  • Will vote to protect unborn babies from late-term abortions after 20 weeks (more than halfway through pregnancy)

  • Will vote against forcing taxpayers to pay for abortions

On her campaign website, Genevieve says: “Life is our first and most fundamental God-given right, and protecting lives is the first duty of government. That’s why I will always be pro-life, from conception until natural death. Liberal Democrats like Colin Allred are pushing for third-trimester abortions, infanticide, and euthanasia through socialized medicine. As if that weren’t bad enough, they’re trying to force religious charities and taxpayers to fund abortion. I will never stop fighting against abortion, standing up for religious liberty, and defending the freedom of the conscience. We must put an end once and for all to taxpayer funding of abortion. I will always stand up for all lives–no matter how small.”1
